** It’s been an action packed few days here in the flutter house…
Dancing lessons, preparations for end of year concerts, photo sessions, lots of visitors and other stuff etc etc… have kept us immensely busy…
(Here is Hannah in her gorgeous costume for her end of year ballet performance)
And Abbie in her equally gorgeous atire:
That was the best I could do at getting Abbie to stay still long enough to take a somewhat in focus photo!
** It’s been absolutely lovely having my friend and her son to stay!!
** Today we took the train into Perth to attend the Telethon Children’s Festival.
WA Telethon has been around for 45 years and exists to raise money for our main Perth Children’s hospitals and a whole bunch of other beneficiaries aimed at helping children in our State.
** The festival was lots of fun…
Rocking the face paint. |
They both rode the ferris wheel, roller coaster & flying car ride. Two brave girls!! |
Watching the fairy concert |
** Two very tired girls were in bed just after 5.30pm tonight though after our big day!!
** I’ve also been doing a fair bit of sewing. I need some better photos (and some more time) to show it all off properly, but here is a sneak peak of the beginning…
** The panel is now a bag.
A very cool bag at that!
** I have also got some hugely gorgeous mail this week… My scrappy swap tote arrived. But again I have to be home in daylight in order to take photos.
** Lets just say for now that the mail lady made my day on Friday.
** Which reminds me that I don’t think I ever blogged the full finish of the tote I made for my partner.
This is why…
And a close up of my embroidery…
** Kind of would have given the game away somewhat.
“Eva” is the name of my partner – Eva at Pippablue.
** And we’re looking at another busy week.
But busy is good. Busy is fun.
(Though busy is a bit tiring)
Happy Saturday!
busy busy fluttering, love all the projects, so your daughter is all well now?
Your daughters are so sweet and the dresses are really adorable. Busy sewing days – thats great 🙂
Those girls are so cute! I love the bag and the panel too, such lovely work.
Love the pouch and the bag. Sounds like you are having a great time
Hannah’s ballet outfit is absolutely gorgeous! The log cabin tote block is beautiful!
How cute are they in their little dresses? Gorgeous little angels you have 🙂
Love, love, love the blue scrappy panel. I can’t wait to see this as a bag!
Lovely busy xxx
Pretty outfits, love the face paint (did you end up with glittery pillows?) and fab bag panel, I just love those fussy cut typewriters! Love the tote too
I can’t get over how much Hannah looks like you… A mini-me for sure!
The girls look so cute in their costumes.
Loving those photos of the girls. Looks like you are having a fab time. I owe you emails but I have been making the choice to be off the computer most of the time so that I can actually get stuff done. Hard choice but had to be done!
I saw your tote at the Knitting and Stitching show in Dublin the other week. Very pretty
What fun times! Your girls are adorable in their face paint!
