Yesterday was my last day of work.
Woo hooooo.
As sad as I am to finish working there, because I had a ball and made some great friends, I am relieved to now be able to fully concentrate on the move…
Being a working mother of 2 smalls, while Mr Flutter worked away, PLUS organising an international move was starting to take its toll and I was in bed last night be 7.30pm!
Zzzzzzzzzzzz
Not sure how much longer I could have done it all for really!
But, that’s one less thing to do now and one step closer to the end of the process.
I had the best sleep last night that I’ve had in weeks and I have a lot planned for the to-do list for today.
{Including jobs that I didn’t anticipate like cleaning crayon off the wall – “Thanks Abbie!” Gah.}
So I guess in the interests of productivity and all that I better get going and go and get started on it all 😉
I have not yet gone to bed on Friday night, and there you are packing up and organizing on Saturday. I expect it will be easier with less on your plate, but it sounds like you had a great time working too.
Oh, the best of luck with all this!- my brother waited until the day before we moved house to create a string of matchstick men abseiling down from a light switch in the living room. It was only when the curtains came down that the biro on wallpaper art work was spotted…
its getting exciting now xx
Make sure they write you a glowing reference for future dalliances with the working life – then go find me the perfect home in Eastbourne xxx
That Abbie is so creative she can’t hold it all in…or keep it on paper 🙂
Good luck with it all, especially the crayon removal! I spent all morning humphing things up into the loft, absolutely knackered now…
Congratulations on your last day of work and good luck with getting ready for the move! Beautiful picture!
Oh my time is just speeding along these days, isn’t it. Congrats on your last day at work, I’m glad you enjoyed your time there.
I’m still looking for a(nother) job – part-time might even work for me now, along with working at the colleges. It is so much fun there!
I was so sorry to hear of your cousins passing. Hugs to you & your family.
Good luck with these short weeks until your flight – think of the treasure hunt when you’re back in NZ and unpacking!
OXO
Good luck Kat x
