We interrupt the ‘normal’ Favourite Things Friday post this week to announce that I have been featured over at Quilt Story today by the lovely Heather & Megan. Bless them. They have featured my Cheeky Quilt.
So pop on over and read all about the cheeky quilt again in all it’s fabulousness. Or read it there if you missed it the first time…

There is also another reason for no FTF this week… I’m in far too much of a grump!
Littlest Flutter fingers have “borrowed” my SD card with all my photos on. And of course it was just due to be backed up wasn’t it. GRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!
Can’t find the jolly thing anywhere and it’s so small that we may as well be looking for a needle in a haystack!

I should have known better than to leave it on the arm of the couch, even if I was sitting right next to it. But still… SO annoyed right now.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – lucky she is cute!

So instead of rambling on about how annoyed I am (oh wait I just did… ok) as WELL as rambling on about how annoyed I am right now, I will let you know something a bit more positive as well.

Have a lovely weekend!!

  1. Kat – I completely sympathize..I left my card in England and had to buy a new one but at least it is safe with my mum (I hope!) I do however have another one from my other camera sitting on the bedside table – off to move it now before little hands find it! Congrats on being featured – off to have a snoop.

  2. Oh I feel your pain! Child number 1 loves picking everything up and playing it even if you have told her 1000 times not to- I still have NO IDEA where the master car key for one of our cars is (luckily we have a spare). I actually have to put the key in the lock instead of just pressing a button 🙁

  3. My theory is that “cute and charming” is a survival tactic employed by toddlers just to get them to the school years. I have yet to find out what school aged geniuses use as survival tactics….perhaps the phrase, “I made it for you, Mommy”? I could see good grades being another tactic. There are so many joys of toddlerhood…. and bedtime is one of my favorites!

  4. Congrats on being featured! I love that quilt, looks fantastic. Good luck finding the card, my husband always says “You’ll find it when you’re not looking” – not something I really want to hear when I’m frantically looking for something, but he’s usually right.

  5. That was a really great post. Congrats on being featured. It’s such a lovely quilt I’m so glad you’re getting a bit of the spotlight. Well done! xx
