Come get your scrap on….

Last year I administrated a swap over on Flickr called the Scrappy Swap.
It was such a small but fun swap that I decided it was time to run it again. So I bring to you the…

Scrappy Swap coming soon...

If you are a swapper then please come join us for some scrappy fun!
You can head on over here to see all the sign up information.

In a nutshell this is just a small low pressure swap. Hence there is only a 3 week turn around from when partner assignments go out to when mailing begins.
The swap items are:

1)  a Fat Quarters equivalent of fabric scraps
2)  a small hand made, scrap inspired gift
3)  a small (under $3 value) item that is local to where you live. E.g. a postcard, some local confectionary etc etc…

Easy peasy lemon squeezy.

I love working with scraps. The possibilities are endless!
Yesterday I decided to work with some scraps just because I could. I wanted something fun and instantly gratifying so I made this little scrappy pouch…

Scrappy pouch. Just because. These are so fun to make!! #instacollage
Please excuse the rubbish ipad photos. It looks SO much better in real life!

This pouch is a combination of my zipper pouch pattern & my scrappy pouch pattern.
Such a fun project.
I see a few more of these in my near future.

So if you love scraps too then please come join us.

  1. I was totally hoping to do this swap again, but then my baby showed up super early! Instead I’ll be peeking in from the sidelines while I take care of a newborn, hoping for an eventual round three. Have fun!

  2. Oh Man! I’d so love to be in this, but have too many commitments in the next three weeks. I can’t promise a scrappy handmade goodie 🙁 Kat, I love your swaps. I’m in for Scrappy Swap 2013! xx

  3. Cute scrappy pouch! I always like your little bags. 😀

I went to the link, but it wouldn’t let me go to the “rules” page. I don’t know what I was doing wrong. Help!
