**  A photo of my children once per week, every week for 52 weeks…

christmas tree

This week I kind of cheated and chose this photo from a few weeks ago when we put our Christmas tree up. I just love the memories this photo invites. Hannah in her nightie and Abbie half dressed on her way to bed, the children were beyond excited to “finally!” be able to put up the Christmas tree. It was a few days later than normal you see, because we had to buy a new one this year after leaving our old one behind when we moved from Australia.
Hannah sternly told me off for not buying a green one. Ha! Not “proper” and Christmassy enough for her apparently!

I love that they are so excited about Christmas! In my busy-ness and stress about getting everything done, their enthusiasm makes me stop and take a breath to remember the reason behind the manicness.

** Apologies for all the made up words in this post 😉

** Linking up with Jodi here…
