** A portrait of my children once a week, for 52 weeks…
Hannah:
This is the post school hair do that you are famous for. It doesn’t seem to matter WHAT I do, you always come home from school or dance with a birdsnest… It’s your birthday in a few weeks. Here you are addressing your invitations. First time ever being able to write them yourself. Eeek I can’t believe you are growing up so fast!
Abbie:
Despite the busyness of the last week you and I have managed a few walks and moments to stop and smell the flowers. I continue to enjoy our time just the two of us. It is such a rare treat to have one on one time with you, since you have always been a packaged deal in the past 🙂
Linking up with Jodi and others here…
I have that same hair as Hannah – my friends call it “Jill hair” when they have a flyaway. It STILL looks like that unless I use a lot of product, and styling is an absurd prospect, as it will last about 5 seconds. The only times I have managed to keep a fancy hairstyle is under the influence of major heat and hairspray for weddings. So just embrace it, and as she gets older, find a hairdresser who can make it look like she meant it to be that way.
Hope your plans for your move are going well!
What a very clever girl is Hannah….and at least someone is taking the time to smell the flowers. x
You’ve seen my hair, right?! ;o) Her’s looks positively neat in comparison :oD
Loving the stopping to smell the flowers pic
I love the total concentration in both photos.
